 Internships / Submissions

supercollider actively seeks assistance with the putting together of our exhibitions and events. If you are interested in assisting with any of the exhibitions and events do not hesitate to contact supercollider. Anyone interested in assisting with the running of supercollider must have a keen interest in contemporary arts practice or a related discipline, be open minded, be dynamic, employ a good attitude to working practice, be eager to learn and flexibe. It is key that you must also have a belief in the regeneration of Blackpool.

Although supercollider's core programme is made up of dynamic, thematic group and solo exhibitions, supercollider is eager to encourage local participation and engagement with contemporary arts practice. supercollider welcomes submissions of interest and proposals from contemporary art practicioners and/or practicioners in related disciplines.

supercollider must stress that although it offers an open submissions policy there are limitations on what we can accomodate. We will endeavour to read all accepted proposals and judge them on their individual artistic merit. Unfortunately we cannot accomodate every show. Proposals must fit in with our exhibitions policy and adhere to the internal ethos of supercollider. We strongly advise that you view any of our shows via this website (but preferably in person!) or visit the links to websites of artists we have worked with in the past.

supercollider encourages participation and engagement with contemporary art on a local, regional, national and international basis. We do not have a house style. We are interested in hearing from and working with all creative disciplines.
