Throughout Decemeber 2009 supercollider was showcased at Grundy Art Gallery as part of the Blackpool Art Fair exhibition >
supercollider established supercollider embassy. Concieved as a non-static exhibition platform the space within a space allowed supercollider to showcase the work of artists they have worked with over the past 12 months and artists who they are engaged with for future projects.
The
initial installation featured the video work 'Pizza Shop Dance' by
Sophie Lisa Beresford, sculpture by Tom Ireland and collages by Noel
Clueit as well as a
collaborative piece by Tom Ireland/Fiona Shaw. In addition to these
pieces supercollider embassy also showed Martin Hamblen's 'Dancing Diggers', photography by Charles Napier and a restaging of
Carlie-Rose Laverack's installation 'No. 32', shown previously at
supercollider's Clifton Street space.
